Product Description
LS2000 is an advanced instrumetn devoloped for the determination of the activity of ultra-low level alpha and beta emitters. It is usually used for al kinds low-level radioactivity measurements, especially the very low levels of 3H and 14C in environmental samples (e.g. water, air, soil, animals, plants, etc.). Besides, it also cab be applied in the measurement of other alpha and beta nuclides.
LS 2000 can measure high-energy beta nuclide activity directly by adopting Cherenkov radiation technique. According to alpha and beta separation technology, a wide range of measurement and analysis tasks can be carried out efficiently.
Features:
* Adopting TDCR quenching correction technology, no need for a built-in quenching source
* Dual channels analytical technology, providing a unique analytical procedure for α and β measurements in water
* Direct measurement of high-energy beta nuclide activity using Cherenkov radiation technique
* Coexistence of relative and absolute measurements, which can be scaled without a source
* Calculation of peak area, count rate and detection efficiency can be performed automatically or manually
* 70 nuclides in database, with a wide range of predefined experimental applications, expandable on request (covering conventional nuclides and some broad-energy nuclides)
* Available for logarithmic and linear spectrogram options
* Unattended measurements, multiple tasks can be set up at one time
* Equipped with static eliminators and electromagnetic interference eliminators
* Dynamic and static double shielding to block the interference of external environmental radioactivity on detection
* Having passive shields made of low-activity lead around counting chambers, and shielded active shields for cosmic particles and gamma rays in the environment
* With self-test and self-diagnostic function, self-diagnostic function can correct different levels of quenching
* Auto sampling
* Equipped with a static eliminator to reduce the static electricity on the surface of the vials, reducing the impact on the counting
