Product Description
The High-Mobility Solution for Rapid Response Drilling
When a drill site is hours from the nearest road, or when an emergency requires immediate sampling, mobility is the critical factor. The GD-200L Fully Hydraulic Core Drilling Rig is engineered as a high-mobility solution, combining a 2800-kilogram total weight with rubber tracks and remote control to go where other rigs cannot. It is the rig that turns urgent drilling requests into completed boreholes, often within the same day.
Mobility begins with transport. The GD-200L’s compact transport dimensions—4300 by 1800 by 2250 millimeters—allow it to be loaded onto a standard flatbed truck or trailer without special permits. For truly remote sites, the rig’s modular design permits disassembly into major components for helicopter transport. The rubber track undercarriage is ready to drive off the trailer and traverse soft ground, mud, or rocky terrain without the need for road construction. From arrival to first core, the process is measured in minutes, not hours.
The remote-controlled tracks are a game-changer for site access. The operator stands at a safe vantage point and guides the rig using a handheld remote, navigating around trees, boulders, and other obstacles. The stepless speed control allows creep speeds as low as centimeters per minute for precise positioning, or higher speeds for longer traverses. Zero-radius turning means the rig can pivot in place, maneuvering in spaces no larger than its own footprint. This capability is invaluable for drilling on steep slopes, in dense forests, or within confined urban lots.
Rapid setup is enabled by the ground-contact tower. Once the rig is positioned, the integrated tower lowers into place without leveling jacks or concrete pads. The hydraulic levelling system compensates for moderate ground unevenness, and the wide track stance provides exceptional stability. A two-person crew can be drilling within 15 minutes of arrival. For multi-hole programs, the time saved on each move quickly adds up to days of additional drilling.
The rig’s 200-meter depth capability and 1500 N.m torque ensure that mobility does not come at the expense of performance. The 76KW diesel engine provides ample power for continuous coring, while the 12-ton feed system maintains penetration rates even in harder formations. The 10 KN auxiliary hoist and hydraulic clamp make rod handling fast and safe. The GD-200L is not just mobile; it is a fully capable drilling platform that happens to move like an ATV.
The GD-200L is the high-mobility solution that keeps your project moving. It goes where roads end, sets up where space is tight, and drills where others cannot. When time is short and access is difficult, the GD-200L is the rig that delivers.
